We are ‘last minute’ planning a month in Spain this Aug/Sept. Thinking Madrid for about 6 days and then Seville for about 3 weeks. Seems like a great place and good spot for many day trips. Any advice on finding a place with a kitchen that isn’t taking an apartment away from a local and isn’t crazy expensive? Is Airbnb ok in Seville?
We like the idea of getting to know a neighborhood a bit. We live on a sailboat and move around and explore a lot.

We rented an Airbnb in Seville for 3 weeks back in March. It was right next to the Mercado de Triana, and a very short walk across the bridge to the main tourist sites. It was perfect. We got our fresh fish and fruits and vegetables in the Mercado. If you like getting to know a neighborhood, Triana is really great.
You won't be taking an apartment away from a local. The owner of the Airbnb has already done that, so don't worry about it.

We stayed in an airbnb outside of Seville in a residential neighborhood. It was the bottom floor of an older couples house. Separate living quarters. Close to a train station with service to central Seville. If you can find an airbnb that is part of someone's house that seems to be a good compromise. Message me if you want more details
