A Few Questions About Small Incidentals In Valencia

I will be spending a month in Valencia and I have questions about a few small items with regard to daily life in Valencia:

Bicycles - Aside from the many bicycle rentals shops around the city that offer daily and weekly bike rentals, is there perhaps a retail bicycle shop that sells inexpensive city bikes in the range of around 200 Euros?

Fitness Centers - Is there a list of fitness centers located within close proximity to the city center available somewhere? I am looking for a place that would offer 1 month memberships where I can go to do a bit of light weight training and use a treadmill.

SIM Cards - I read that Orange and Vodafone both offer 30 day SIM cards for tourists. It seems Orange might have slightly better offers with their SIM cards being free and offering around 3GB of data for around 20 Euros. I am wondering if anyone perhaps has any experience with these two providers and knows which will be better for a tourist? Also, do they offer these tourist SIM cards for sale at the Valencia airport or is it more cost effective to buy a SIM card in town after I have left the airport?

Hypermarts - Are there any sort inexpensive hypermarts or big stores in town which sell a variety of small home furnishing items inexpensively like dishes and glasses, silverware, bed sheets, towels, etc.?

Any information you might be able to provide on any of the above topics would be very much appreciated.

That is great info, thank you so much.

I am familiar with the French place, Carrefour, from having been in one in Asia already. Hipercor looks to be a local company. I will check them both out when I get there.

Thanks again...

Just a couple of updates for anyone that's interested.

I got a great deal on a bicycle rental for one month from Marcus at Mo Bike. So I went the rental route instead of buying one. Mo Bike is one of the highest rated bicycle rental shops in Valencia on both Google and Trip Advisor I believe.

Vodofone offers prepaid SIMS for either 10, 15, or 20 Euros at the moment. The SIMS have a validity time of 4 months (and then you can top up to extend the time if you like) and of course they give you a local Spanish mobile phone number. I went for the 20 Euro SIM which gives me 60 minutes of talk time and 3.5GB of data. Incoming calls though don't use up any of your minutes though, which is nice. And you can also make free calls using this SIM to other Vodophone users who are also on the same VodafoneYU package.

I went over to one of the Hipercor locations towards the airport by bicycle. Useful place. Haven't checked out Carrefour yet.
