Hello - We are traveling to Spain in late September. We fly in/out of Barcelona and have the following stops planned but I need help figuring out where to spend the last 2 nights so that we can get back to Barcelona for our flight out. Thanks for all suggestions!
Day 1 - 3 - Sleep in Barcelona
Day 4 - Fly to Seville @ 10 am
Day 4 -6 - Sleep in Seville
Day 8-9 - ?
D10 Fly out of Barcelona at 4 pm
Is it possible to arrange your schedule to do Barcelona last.? This eliminates the hazards of day of flight travel from a remote location to the airport.
Perhaps Madrid as your other stop? Go directly to Seville or Madrid on arrival and end in Barcelona.
I would add an extra day to Barcelona, and an extra day to Sevilla and take this day to go to Cordoba by train and back. Easy to do and an amazing day.
In Barcelona, you can also use that day to visit the Montserrat Monastery for instance
7th train to Cordoba see Mezquita. Train to Madrid on 7th or 8th to see Madrid. Go or sleep 9th in Toledo and train back to BCN on day 10. Would sleep in Cordoba, Madrid and/or Toledo for the extra nights. Easy and short train rides.
