8 day Barcelona / Basque Country itinerary feedback

Hello, We are a family of 4 (our kids are 17 and 19) hoping for feedback on our itinerary.

We would love to keep things kind of chill without stressing about moving around too much. We are balancing that against seeing as much as we can because we don't get to Europe often. One note - we do not want to stay longer in Barcelona - we have to fly in there and the visit to La Familia Sagrada is just to take advantage of the fact that we are there.

Day 1: Land 2:30pm in Barcelona, sleep in Barcelona
Day 2: La Familia Sagrada Tour, sleep in Barcelona
Day 3: Drive to Alquezar, Canyoneering tour, Cave Paintings, sleep in Alquezar
Day 4: Drive to San Sebastian, Pinxtos Tour, sleep in San Sebastian
Day 5: Beach day in San Sebastian, sleep in San Sebastian
Day 6: Coastal drive, hike / Zumaia, Mundaka, sleep in Bakio
Day 7: Drive to Santander, explore caves, nature park , sleep in Santander
Day 8: Drive to Bilbao, Guggenheim Museum 3pm train to Barcelona, sleep in Barcelona
Day 9: Kids fly back home, parents in Barcelona for another week for a friend's celebration

Looks awesome to me! Just got back from the RS Basque tour and loved it. You've opted for different choices that look interesting to me-- especially with teenagers. The RS tour included stops in the French Basque region and Pamplona and highlighted the Camino and bullfighting. While not a fan of bullfighting or running with the bulls, RS treatment and guides were so good that it was both fascinating and enjoyable. Your kids might like a 1/2 day walking the Camino-- there is northern route right on your planned itinerary.

Enjoy eating Gildas!
