30 days in Spain

My husband and I will be traveling throughout Spain for the entire month of June of next year. We are both retired and are looking forward to experiencing this country.
We are thinking about starting in Barcelona for 5 nights with day trips to Dali House and Monseratt. We will then head up to San Sebastian. Should we fly or take the train there? We would like to rent a car while in San Sebastian and stay there for 5 days as well and explore the region.
From there fly to Madrid and stay 5 nights as well before heading down to the southern coast via a rental car. We would like to stop for 2 nights in Seville before heading down to Malaga where we will be staying for 9 nights. We will be doing day trips from there.

Any suggestion for must see's along the way? Also any recommedations for Airbnb , vrbo or other accommodations ideas?

Thank you for any suggestions!

The weather gets hotter as June progresses, so I would be tempted to start in the south and head north.

Two nights in Seville is only one day there, so I would take a couple of nights off Malaga and add them to Seville.

I would take trains on both routes (Barcelona-SS and SS-Madrid/Chamartín station), each 5.5 hours by direct train. Train also makes sense between Madrid and Seville, if you don't plan too many stops between those two. You could pick up a rental car when departing Seville.

For general planning, Looking Up Train Schedules and Routes Online gives you the Deutsche Bahn train schedule link and tips for using it.
