3 or 4 Star Hotel in Madrid with Balcony

I dislike the hermetically sealed hotel room. I love a nice balcony to test the weather before I go through the lobby and wish I had worn my other coat. When I return to my room, I like to be able to step outside before bedtime. Typically, I'd be in the $200-$300 per night range, but I'm willing to move up to $300-$400 max for even a tiny balcony..

A nice view is nice, but so is privacy.

I found a few prospects like Radisson Blu and Petit Palace Savoy Alfonso XII. Any other recommendations from my fellow "balcony bats"?

I’ve stayed in a few hotels with bats nesting in the balconies!!

I also enjoy balconies, and when in Madrid always stay at Apartosuites Jardines de Sabatini, a family run hotel, located directly opposite the Royal Palace. The rooms are large and have kitchenettes. There’s a roof top with extraordinary views of The Royal Palace.

We stay in the studio room with views, or the suites with views. Both have balconies. The rooms we’ve stayed in have been very private.

I book directly with the hotel.

We stay at Hotel Europa when we’re in Madrid. On our just completed trip we were in room 204. It was above the front entrance overlooking the pedestrian street and with a view of the Puerta del Sol. It actually had two small balconies. Any of the rooms on that side of the hotel have a small balcony you can step out onto. It was 207€ a night the couple nights we were there.

The photo in the link was from our 2014 trip and was taken from room 304.
