My husband and I are taking the RS 14 days in Spain trip in late Sept/early Oct. The trip ends in Sevilla and we have 3 full days before flying out of Madrid mid-day on the fourth day. We're trying to decide how to spend our last few days. Possibilities so far: Cadiz; Cordoba; Tarifa; Donana National Park/El Rocio (we like the outdoors/birds). We'd be fine either renting a car or using the train. Anybody have any recommendations? Thanks!
I vote for at least one more day in Sevilla and at least one day in Cordoba. I haven't been to the other places, though.
Thanks, Kathy. We'll have two nights in Sevilla on the trip. Think we need more?
Yep, I think Sevilla is worth 3 nights...or you could run back to Barcelona, since 1-1/2 days there is definitely NOT enough! I'm sure it will be amazing, regardless!
Thanks! We're having great fun planning!
Leave Seville early. Spend the day in Donana and the night in Cadiz. Leave Cadiz after early lunch and spend the night in Cordiba. Leave Cordoba after lunch and drive to Madrid in time for supper.
If that wasn't enough days, spend a second night in Cadiz and go back up into the park and head for Cordoba for the next night.
Thanks, Ed. You've given us another way to think of spending our few extra days.
