What was the highlight of Barcelona as we have such a short time. We also like being out in the countryside and smaller villages perhaps along the seaside. We are more about experiences and people than architecture.

You go Tapas bar hopping and clubbing until dawn where the people socialize if not interested so much in Gaudi and modern architecture.
Go up to Montserrat on a day trip from Barcelona.

We enjoyed Park Guell, tapas, a food tour, and simply enjoying walking about the town especially older parts. We did not make it to Montserrat or several other countryside places- we had just 3 nights there.

We leave in two weeks and are staying in Barcelona for 3 days. The most anticipated portion is the cooking class with market tour we have planned.
