2 Days in Seville

What do I do with our 2 days in Seville? Family of 4 with older kids. I figure one day of a tour, and another free day?

Day 1:
3 hour tour Jewels of Sevilla tour with Alfonso? Someone here recommended him:

Question: I see it doesn't include tickets to the museums...last tour we had in Rome with Thru Eternity, they took care of all that. Does anyone recommend another tour company that takes care of our tickets/skip lines?

Flamenco dinner

Day 2:
no tour...my kids will be toured out. Open to a shorter tour. Walking tour, food tour?
What should we do on our second day? Please tell me I'm getting overwhelmed searching the web!

I would take the family to Carbonara for flamenco and food, much more relaxed and fun that a regular flamenco dinner in a fancy place. I have been to Carbonara 4 times and would go again when in Seville. What no catedral or Alcazar? Or perhaps that is the Jewels of Sevilla tour. The large fresh/farmers market is fun with wonderful pastries, makes for a good mid morning sugar high. ?

Slow down, linger, and observe. Walking tours like the one you posted tend to be more of an introduction rather than anything in-depth, and you won't really catch the flavor until you relax into it. And visiting Sevilla is just as much about the flavor as the sights. A two-hour lunch is a cultural experience all of its own.

And don't miss the Setas. Casa Pilatos was fascinating. And Palacio de Las Dueñas was impressive.

The bullfight museum was very interesting, as was a walk down by the water. Email the guide and ask about him purchasing the tickets or if you should.

Before deciding on a flamenco show, watch a couple videos to see if it’s something you’d want to watch for an hour. My wife and I enjoy it at festivals where you can leave when you want. Otherwise, five minutes of the tapping and screeching is more than enough. Decades ago, my children enjoyed climbing Giralda tower and the Plaza de España.

I strongly recommend visiting Plaza de Espagne. It is beautiful!!!! You can slowly wander around, take photos, admire its beauty!

Have drinks/snacks in Park Maria Luisa.

Visit Casa di Pilates. It’s a small palace and not very crowded.

Take a carriage ride around the city.

Visit the Triana neighborhood and the Triana indoor market.

There’s another fascinating market we visited. I think it’s called Mercado Barranca.

As another poster said, on your second day, just wander and admire Seville’s beauty!

Thank you everyone, I love all the suggestions. I agree on the Flamenco...like the idea of a more casual one. And just taking in the flavor :)
