I'm going to be in Barcelona for a 2 weeks Shoudl I take a side trip for a day or 2 to Valencia?

What time of year will you be there?
Valencia has some excellent festivals and I find it to be a great place to visit without a swarm of tourists.
However, is this a first trip to Barcelona? There are a number of convenient day trips to be enjoyed from Barcelona.
What are your interests?
