10 days in spain

Hi All,

We are heading to Spain on a 10 day trip landing in Madrid and flying out of Barcelona with a 4.5 year old. Here is how we have divided the days between cities.

day 1 - land in Madrid
day 2 - royal palace & other sightseeing & taking it easy
day 3 - day trip to Toledo
day 4 - Prado for few hours & then catch AVE to Cordoba. (OR head to Seville directly)
day 5 - Check Mezquita & then head to Seville
day 6 - Spend day in Seville
day 7 - train to Granada & Alhambra
day 8 - explore Granada & take a flight to Barcelona
day 9 & 10 - explore Barcelona (including a trip to Montserrat)

We like being outdoor & exploring scenic areas. Looking for recommendations in the Cordoba, Seville & Granada regions for scenic walks and short hikes around the area.

Thank you!!

Hi Donnoyet,

We are looking to do an almost similar trip from June 5th to 14th.
Day 1: Arrive in Madrid
Day 2: Day trip to Toledo
Day3: Madrid
Day 4: Madrid-Cordoba-Sevilla or Madrid to Sevilla
Day 5: Sevilla
Day 6: Morning to Granada and Alhambra. Overnight train to Barcelona on same day (I know its ambitious, but we can save a bit on overnight stay)
Day 7: Barcelona
Day 8: Barcelona
Day 9: Barcelona
Day 9: Fly out of Barcelona

Please let us know if you got any further information/tips.

Cheers,
Biraja

Hello,

We decided to skip Cordoba. We are spending 3 nights in Madrid, 2 in Seville, 2 in Granada and 3 in Barcelona. We take a flight from Granada to barcelona and head back home from there. We plan on renting a car in Seville for a day to explore lil towns around the area.
