1 Week in Spain?

Hi All,
Me and My wife are planning to visit Spain ( flying from Zurich) from 25th Mar to 1st April. Please suggest any itinerary suitable for these days.
We wanted to visit Barcelona first and then take it from there. ( I have already visited Madrid and Toledo)
Also let me know the best way to travel between different locations as I cant drive .

Thanks in advance for all your suggestions.

PS: Any other countries that you will recommend apart from Spain is also welcome.

how many days will you have? Do you already have your tickets?

If you fly to Barcelona, I would plan at least 2 days, maybe 3 there. From there you can take a train to Valencia. I would allow at least 2 days in Valencia.

From Valencia I would probably hop on a plane to Malaga - Vueling has cheap flights. Then in Malaga I would probably spend 1 day in the city and 1 day in Granada. (You can purchase day trips to Granada easily from Malaga) From there you have to get back to your departure city which will be???? Madrid? You can take a fast train from Malaga to Madrid, or again a cheap flight.

You can take a train easily between: Malaga, Seville, Madrid, Cordoba; between Barcelona - Valencia; Baracelona-Madrid,

I took a bus from Valencia to Denia and spent a week there because I had a timeshare. Not much to do there though. I then took a bus to Salobrena - another coastal town, not much there again, but I enjoyed my stay, from there I took another bus to Nerja. I really like Nerja and am now here for a month. Between Valencia and Malaga there isn't a whole lot but small towns. Only worthy if you have the time, if you just want to hit the hot spots, you don't have time to wander around.

With just one week, why not just spend it in one region? You lose so much time moving around when you could be enjoying seeing things.

Since you've already been to Madrid/Toledo, don't waste time returning (unless there is something you absolutely want to go back to see).

If Barcelona is your choice, you can spend a week in Catalunya. There are lots of daytrips from Barcelona like Figueres (Dali Museum), Tarragona, a beach town like Sitges, Montserrat. Girona is a small city where you could spend a night or two. Or take the bus to Cadaques and spend a night there.

Or spend a week in Andalucia. A few nights in Sevilla and a couple in Granada leaves you the option of a night in Cordoba and/or a night in Ronda. You can fly in/out of Sevilla or Malaga easily.

All of the above are easily reached by train and/or bus.
