Hi. I was just in Madrid this spring and took days trips to Toledo, Segovia, and the Ribera del duero wine region. I have to go back for work in late October. I will have and extra night or 2 and was thinking about an overnight somewhere. Preferably somewhere that I can take a wine tour as well. I’ve been to Barcelona twice and adjacent wine regions in Catalina. Any suggestions for somewhere new ?
The Rias Baixas in Galicia is the Albariño region; I'm there now and it's lovely.....you could base in Santiago, Pontevedra, Cambados..depending on time frame and where you are coming from.. If you love seafood, this is where you ought to visit.

Malaga would also work...
There are wine regions close to Madrid as well:

And in La Mancha:

Did you go to Penafiel?
