Hi Travelers
My husband and I are taking a short (7 day) trip to Barcelona for my 40th bday and want to travel to the coastal cities north of Barcelona using the train. Any recommendations on places, beaches, hotels would be great. We love to experience true culture and food of the places we travel to. Thank you so much!!

We did something similar last year. We flew into Barcelona and spent two nights. We did use a car so can’t comment on the travel aspect. We headed north and stopped in Tossa de Mar for lunch and a break on the beach, en route and stayed in Tamariu for 4 nights. Hotel Tamariu. Small family owned hotel on a small beach. Used that location as a base to visit Girona, Pals, Figures, Begur- where we had dinner in the evenings, etc.
