We will be disembarking in Barcelona from a Viking cruise and would like to arrange a small group tour for two days before we fly back to the USA. Will need transfers from the cruise ship upon arrival and to the airport on the day of departure. Any ideas?

I did it the opposite way. I arrived by plane to Barcelona and took a cruise from Barcelona.
There should be a bus that will take you from the cruise ship to a central location in Barcelona. I think it is called the Cruise Bus or maybe The Blue Bus.
From the central location, you might be able to walk to your hotel, or take a taxi, uber or even public transportation
And then there is an Airport Bus.
I was able to take the airport bus from the airport to Catalonia Square and then walked to my hotel. Depending on where your hotel is, you might be able to take the airport bus which was direct and reasonable. If not a taxi or uber.
Ask at your hotel.

Barcelona is a cab city. They are plentiful, cheap and accept tap to pay. Watch out for an occasional roundabout route which will jack up your fare. There should be cabs when you disembark. Barcelona has plenty of skilled pickpockets. I would not take a public bus while loaded down with luggage. Your hotel can arrange your airport transfer, either cab or private car.
