Toledo restaurant recommendations for late lunch (2-3pm)

Doing a day trip in late September and am looking for a restaurant for a late lunch. Good food and preferable a view. (Not the Parador as I do not want to use my time taxiing.). Moderately priced. .

Keep in mind that many places will close in that time period for the afternoon siesta.

2 pm is not a late lunch, it is normal lunch hour. Any restaurant open for lunch will be open until 3 for sure, and probably 3.30.

Sounds like an early bird special for these seniors. We’ll be there in October and will take your recommendation Avi since we love lamb. Just looked at menu, the roast suckling pig also sounds delish. Thanks for the heads up

Will do. I’m going to bookmark this topic. On another recommendation here on the forum, we already booked a reservation at Terra Olea in Cordoba. They do a 14 course, small dish dinner for 44€. We have reservations for October 19 at 3:00.

Barbara - We were considering this restaurant in Cordoba but curious how long the meal would last. We have only one day in Cordoba so I don't want to spend too much time eating and not enjoying the sights. We do have the Mezquita booked for 10am and are free after that to roam. Do you think the meal would last several hours?

Renee,

My mom and I enjoyed a multitude of delicious tapas for lunch, a couple of times, at Cervecería El Trébol

They have outdoor sitting, however we sat inside ( pre-Covid) to avoid second hand smoke.

Enjoy your time in beautiful Toledo!

Right here are the top Toledo restaurants based on customer reviews:

The Chop House
J. Alexander's Restaurant
Rockwell's
Mancy's Steak House
Registry Bistro
Final Cut Steak and Seafood

Please don't eat the lamb. The process they go through is the ultimate in animal cruelty.

@BigMike -- the venison and the partridge had no shot pellets to worry about by the time they reached my plate at any of these places.

@BigMike- Those restaurants are in Toledo, OHIO-as you likely know. So are the Wabash E-bikes in another of your posts on things to do in Toledo-(but the poster will be in Spain).
