The hotel we booked for a two night stay in Salamanca plans to close for renovations. We are looking for suggestions - budget is 150-200 euro per night. We prefer boutique hotels in quiet areas that are walkable to restaurants etc. appreciate suggestions!

We stayed at The Almeda Palace hotel ( booking.com) it’s close to the railway station and there was a fabulous cafe next door, (tapas, coffee and fresh pastries) as we didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel.
We really enjoyed the hotel, close to the main square and very walkable. I seem to recall they valet your car for you in their own car park (ours was full of our valuables as we were relocating back to the UK from Portugal) and wanted peace of mind.
Reception was multi lingual too. Good value for money in this beautiful city.
