We stayed at this lovely hotel just below the Alhambra from August 27 to September 2, 2018 during a very hot week where the temperatures hit 104 degrees Fahrenheit (I verified this on a weather web site). Although it was extremely hot and the pension does NOT have air conditioning, we found it very pleasant, particularly at night when the temperatures fell to as low as 58 degrees Fahrenheit. Dona Julieta gave us a fan and we were able to have a comfortable siesta, although it would have been too hot to do anything like work during the afternoon. In the evenings (8 pm and later) we opened the windows and enjoyed the breeze. So please advise people that even when it is super hot, the evenings in Granada are pleasantly cool.
