Mallorca hotels ...anyone stayed El Moli ?

Searching and searching for the right hotel in Mallorca for September and just kind find one.
Seems very split between super expensive and low end with not much in the mid range.
We have 2 nights in Palma then need 4 nights further out / country or castal - boutique style - really nice pool setting for R&R. Nice designed rooms not too old and not too chichi ...Not into Michelin star dining on this kind of break. Beautiful views and peaceful. Love to be able to walk to a restaurant or two and drive to a beach. Not too small and intimate ( kids are in their early 20's) but definetly not a huge modern hotel.

As I say have researched loads and many not available or the rooms which would be nice are over budget. Am having to be more fleixible in my demands as can't move dates.
I am interested in El Moli but some awful reviews as well as good ones ...has anyone been ?

Thank you

I've not stayed at El Moli but have you looked at Son Julia in Llucmajor. It's a beautiful hotel in lovely grounds and the dining there is excellent. You can walk to the town centre where there are a number of good restaurants although a short taxi ride would be preferable.

Or there's Hotel Ca'n Bonico in Ses Salines. I've walked through the hotel and it's very nice and there's an excellent bar/restaurant next door where we had a lovely lunch yesterday. The gorgeous beach of Es Trenc is a short drive away.

Thank you I just looked at those 2 you have recommended.
Hotel Ca'n Bonico I had considered previously but it's booked up. I have emailed Son Julia which I wasn't sure about earlier as no balconies to sit on ....let's see ...pools look great
Thank you

There's also the Hacienda Son Antem which is part of Marriott's Autograph collection. It's a nice hotel set in lovely grounds. All the rooms have balconies or a patio for those on the ground floor. It's next to the resort I'm currently staying at and the facilities are shared so I've spent the day at their pool. It's very quiet, to the point that I have the same sunbed for the last ten years!

Or you could look at booking where I currently am, Marriott's Son Antem, where you can have a two or three bedroom villa with kitchen, lounge and a garden. Theres's a pool for every eight villas and I'm currently sat on my patio, the barbecue is lit and an empty pool is a couple of steps away. It's very serene and relaxing and much better than a hotel room with a balcony.
