Wife and I will be in Mallorca for two (2) nights in early October and we will have a car. Any hotel recommendations? Thank you in advance.

Are you looking to stay in Palma, or wanting something elsewhere on the island? We stayed at the Bordoy Continental Palma, it’s not far from the Mercat Santa Catalina, and we were happy with it although I don’t know the parking situation.

Mallorca in early October, that's a great timing! I'm sure you both are going to have an amazing time. Since you'll have a car, you’ll be able to explore and see quite a bit of the island. Here are some hotel recommendations, no cheap options but these are worth the experience!
Hotel Es Princep in Palma, Belmond La Residencia in Deià or Cap Rocat in Cala Blava. This last one is an old fortress turned into a stunning hotel.
