I’m thinking of traveling to Barcelona in January and staying for a month. I was in Spain just as the pandemic hit, so missed traveling there. Was hoping to use an apartment (?) and possibly traveling to southern France too. Recommendations?

Look at this Aparthotel in Barcelona:
Hispanics 7 Suiza. Nice apartments plus a very helpful front desk. Near La Sagrada Familia.
