After enjoying a clear, cool mid morning atop Tibidabo, we settled in for a pleasant meal at la Venta. It was charming, filled with large local families and felt unpretentious and serene.
Our waiter was pleasant, the day mellow and somehow, it all worked to our advantage.
Was it a great meal? No, but it was far, far more than just average. Given the complete environment and the vibe we felt it worked to create a rather perfect afternoon.
I believe this place works because of intangibles.
Recommended for authenticity, mellow vibe and calm atmosphere - a nice change from some places in Barcelona.
