We stayed there three nights in mid-September, returning after our stay nine years ago. It has been remodeled, and was very comfortable. We chose a balcony room above the Ramblas, and it was wonderful. The hotel now has food and beverages available 24 hours a day, including complimentary beer and white wine on tap.

We stayed here for three nights in spring 2013. What a great place and the people were so nice & helpful. The 24 hr buffet & drinks was a nice added bonus. The rooms were clean and creatively appointed. You must like pink though! :)

We've stayed there and it is a great place!!!! It is right on the Ramblas and the balconies are great for people watching. They have air conditioning and an elevator- a must for our family. They have a meal buffet, a dessert buffet, and a drinks 24/7 and lots of free food, drinks and sweets. I love the pink suites- they look like they are designed for a fairytale princess. Even my husband admitted they are like walking into a cotton candy fantasy. I like the Einstein chandelier in the hotel- it adds a touch of class. This is such a central location, you can get to any place from here. I agree wholeheartedly that this is a great place to stay in Barcelona.

We stayed there about 4 years ago and were very comfortable there - we'd recommend it. The staff was friendly, it's right on the Ramblas. The rooms are, indeed, very, very pink. It was nice to have the food/beverages available, although we didn't partake very often because we were busy eating as much Spanish food as we could get around town.
