I'll be spending a few days in Girona before heading to Barcelona. Any suggestions on lodging either hotel or B&B? Just a single room, moderately priced. Thanks.

Hello, I am curious where you ended up staying. My husband, myself and a friend will be traveling to Girona from Barcelona (before we head to Madrid) in early October. I am now researching accommodations and would love your opinion of where you stayed. Thanks!

I loved the small Hotel Museu Llegendes de Girona right in the medieval section of Girona. Very comfortable, great breakfast. Also enjoyed the Mimolet restaurant very nearby. Very beautiful and historic part of Catalunya, lots to see and do.

I have yet to travel. I'm spending a single night at Hotel Peninsular, booked on my own, before heading to Hotel NORD 1900, which is where I will be for four days set up through my cycling tour package. I searched online and read reviews and looked at photos, but that is all I know. I have a few days afterwards before heading back to Barcelona. I figure if I like the Hotel Peninsular I can always book it while I'm there, or extend my stay at Hotel NORD 1900, or get recommendations on something completely different. Sounds like you will be there a few weeks bore me, so maybe you can ultimately give me recommendations. I will be there end of October.
