Just spent 3 hours with Christina Sanjuan on a private tour in Barcelona. Christina is a fabulous tour guide and we highly recommend her. She duplicated a tour she gave to Rick some years ago. In addition to guiding she assisted my wife with shopping and got us a table in her favourite restaurant. We had a great time.

Lucky you, I had a wonderful Rick Steves tour guide as well in Florence, Vanessa Garau. She was flexible, brilliant understanding of the art and the city. I can’t recommend her enough if you are going to Florence, worth every dime, even though this is my 4th trip to the city, she added
so much! How do we make sure the powers at be know ?

Write an email to the RS tour office and let them know of these great local guides. As I recall, I did that once with a terrific guide we had in Rome, when my hubby and I were traveling on our own.
