Granada - Los Diamantes Restaurant

At Los Diamantes restaurant on Plaza Nueva we joined other diners at long tables and placed our order with the waiter. It was mid-afternoon, and the restaurant was closing for lunch soon. Some of the dishes we wanted to try were sold out so we agreed to a racione of mixed fried seafood that included fish, shrimp, and squid (18 Euros). It was good but nothing special. We had better seafood elsewhere in Spain for less.

One of my former co-workers has a friend in Granada, and he told me to eat at this restaurant. We had a couple of seafood dishes and a rice dish. We liked the fish/shrimp dishes, and we both liked the rice dish even more! A fun atmosphere, too!

We had tapas here in the evening twice ( my daughter loved it) a couple of years ago. The food was good, the atmosphere lively, and the waiters very efficient - it was full both nights and we were there in March. We met Spanish tourists from other areas of Spain, as well as ladies out for the night from there in Granada, who wanted us to come visit them (we didn’t have another day). It was a great place for us!
