I recommend Salles Ciudat dels Prat if you need an airport hotel. It was the quietest airport hotel I have ever used as well as very comfortable. There is a small covered swimming pool, airport suttle and in house restaurant and bars. Also quite close to the train station for town so could be your Barcelina hotel as well.
Rooms are more like a suite with a second door separating the hallway and bathroom from the beroom thus reducing any hall noise. Sound proofing for external noise was very good. Loads of pillows, in room coffee/tea kettle and great black out curtains.
It is in a local community, so numerous small grocery stores, bakeries and green grocers as well as little eateries a coiple of blocks away.
I should add that booking directly through their website entitles you to a free welcome drink and a 10% discount to the restaurant.
