We will be traveling at the beginning of Oct and starting in Barcelona. The plan is to fly to Bilbao, but need help on getting to Haro. Are there bus or train options? Renting a car would be our last choice, but won't need it in Haro while sampling wine.

If you go to Google Maps and request directions from Bilbao to Haro, you will find that the train ride takes about 2 hrs and 4 minutes.

Your bedt bet looks like Alava Bus, which seems to have seven trips scheduled per day on weekdays. It's Line 17. I think with that information you can find the schedule by Googling. There's a mid-afternoon train that's an option if,that's the time of daymyou want to teavel.
