I will be traveling to San Sebastian the latter part of June 2023. Could you please suggest restaurants in the area where our group can dine? Michelin rated ones are good; however, not necessary. Please post as a reply. Thanks. Nancy S.

Arzak is probably #1 but a tough reservation. As we age we are finding the highly rated Michelin restaurants to be a bit of a chore-way too many courses, way too long for dinner. We were in San Sebastion last summer and had one free night. Because it was a Monday , we had limited choices and chose instead to do a Pinxtos tour with Devour tours. Great fun and very good food and wine. Consider this if you have a mobile group.

Martin Beresategui, the restaurant by the chef with the same name. It’s maybe 3 or 4 miles south of San Sebastián. We went to his 3-Michelin-star restaurant for lunch, and it’s still probably the finest restaurant meal I’ve had - and I’ve had many over time. The Website is
