My daughter and two friends are visiting Barcelona in March. Looking for a hotel closer to beach, maybe El Born or Barceloneta neighborhoods. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Budget? I like the Hotel Arts. I have stayed there four times since 2014. A good friend who goes to Barcelona every other year stays at the W Barcelona and loves it.

Just an opinion but the Barcelona metro is good enough that they don't have to stay by the beach. I loved being in the center and then just taking the Metro to the beach and walking the promenade. Because of the weather many stores on the promenade are closed but it's still nice to walk around.
