We enjoyed our stay at the Pensión (or Hostal - not a hostel) Landázuri. It's on the road that leads to the Alhambra. I don't think you would call it a "boutique hotel," though. It's in Rick's book. Very inexpensive. We got to choose our room, and ended up with a huge two-level suite! I don't know that that's typical.

We enjoyed Melia Colon which is an historical property, well located, nice rooms.

We just finished up a stay in Sevilla and stayed at the Hotel Becquer. It was a beautiful room and big enough for 3 adult women. I booked it through Hotels.com. We chose not to have the hotel breakfast buffet but found plenty of places within walking distance for a nice breakfast. We arrived a little before check-in time from the train and checked in. Our room wasn't ready but they took our bags and we went next door for a lovely lunch. By the time we got back, our room was ready and they had delivered our bags to our room. My birthday was in the middle of our stay and they left a note with a bottle of sherry for us to enjoy! When we left the desk clerk took our bags to the curb and hailed a cab. Wonderful service, lovely hotel and well with in walking distance of the the cathedral, alcazar and bull ring. Do not hesitate to call/email Concepcion and arrange tours she is fabulous.
