Apartment in Cadiz-El Armador Casa Palacio

We spent 4 nights in Cadiz at El Armador Casa Palacio. In times of COVID it’s great to have a clean and cozy space to stay - this one has everything we look for in an apartment. The kitchen is fully equipped, the WiFi strong, the bed comfy and the location in the center of the city perfect. It’s an elegant space, perfectly maintained. It was easy to pop out for pastries in the morning as there are several pastry shops just a few doors down and many restaurants in the neighborhood. Cadiz is a gem - we’d recommend adding it to an itinerary that includes Seville, Cordoba, and Granada.

For lunch we had a great meal at Casa Lazo and lots of fun eats at the Central Market.

Thanks for posting this review! It's good news for us -- we have reservations at the Armador Casa Palacio for 3 apartments (10 of us traveling together) in January.

The Central Market is definitely on our list; thanks for sharing.

Hi Deb!

We had such a nice time in Cadiz…I’m glad to know that you’re going also and staying at El Armador. We’d also suggest going to the Torre Tavira to see the Camera Obscura, walks on the seaside promenade, views from the Cathedral Tower, and just hanging out in one of the many neighborhood outdoor cafes - it’s a great place. We planned for a day trip to Jerez de la Frontera but there was so much to do in Cadiz, we didn’t go. We think we’d like to return for a longer stay! Enjoy your visit!
