Anacapri in Granada

I am enjoying this forum - very helpful.
I know RS recommends Hotel Anacapri in Granada, and it's popular in the forum, but I cannot find good photos of the hotel and I've looked on many sites. I see a lot of pink and white. Does anyone have photos they would share or can anyone tell me more about it? I would like clean and not depressing. Anacapri is less expensive than many others, and I wonder if I will wish I had upgraded.

Thank you!

Candid photos or not, the reviews on booking.com are very positive with high marks for location, value, staff, cleanliness, comfort, etc. There are also 47 pictures. I don't read mentions that photos presented by the hotel itself misrepresent their rooms/grounds and personally wouldn't hesitate to book this property.

We stayed in Hotel Anacapri in 2023. Great location, nice people working there and they will do your laundry for you at a reasonable price. It’s a solid hotel.

I wrote in my journal, “Basic, clean, quiet room with big comfy bed but tight bathroom with awkward sink.” (I bumped my head on the corner of the sink in the middle of the night when picking something off the floor.)

Other than me bumping my head, we were happy with the hotel.

When are you going? We plan to stay there in mid-November and I will post a trip report when we return.

I have no photos but liked the hotel in 2019. Clean and not depressing (to me anyway), very well located. I don't remember pink and white. The hotel website photos look a little pinkish, but I expect that might be a filter -- "rose colored glasses." There's a lot of white in southern Spain.

We also stayed there in September 2022. It was very well located, nice, clean, friendly, good breakfast. Also, like mentioned about, cheapest laundry we ever had done.

We stayed at Hotel Anacapri and really enjoyed our time. Our room was large and spotless. The common areas were also very clean. I remember a bright hotel with an indoor garden type of feel. Not the least bit depressing. Perhaps you could request a room with a lot of daylight??

We booked directly with the hotel, and we mentioned seeing the hotel in the RS guide. I believe that got us an included breakfast, and our room did have a large terrace.

I just looked at some of the images. I wouldn't call the color, pink, I'd say the pictures are more blush. There is one where the walls look offwhite. I would agree that the pink tones might be a filter or something.

We have stayed at Hotel Anacapri on several trips to Spain and it’s a lovely hotel in a great location. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

We stayed there last summer on the RS Spain Tour. I found it to be very clean and not depressing. I think the lobby area looks a little dated with the palm plants and such, but the rooms were modern, as far as I can remember. I don’t remember many details about the room, but that probably means it was perfectly fine and not weird at all, haha. The location was great!

However, that may be the hotel where we were warned about not talking loudly in the lobby area early in the morning, since there were guest rooms very close by on that level. If that would be a concern, ask for a room on an upper floor, maybe. I might be remembering a different hotel though, since we stayed in many places on the tour.
