The Rick Steves travel books recommend the Atlantis Hotel in Barcelona as a reasonable place to stay. We have stayed there twice--in 2011 and more recently in May 2014 and both experiences have been wonderful. The hotel is clean with nice rooms and well located with a friendly professional staff and a great breakfast. This is where we will stay when we visit Barcelona in the future.
