Hi, I’m going to Slovenia in May without car.
I plan to do 5 nights in Bohinj and change to another base for another 4-5 nights. Will Bovec or Kranjska Gora be more ideal?
I’m worried that the bus frequencies at Bovec will be too low. I’m looking to do short day hikes, visit gorges and waterfalls. Many thanks!
For Bohinj, trains travel from Bohinjska Bistrica to Most na Soci in the Soca Valley in a little over one hour. Buses will travel to Tolmin, Kobarid and Bovec from Most na Soci.
