Travelling across Slovenia - How to?

Hi,
I'm planning a trip across slovenia in June and had a few questions.

  1. Where do I stay around Soca River Valley?
I want to visit the Soca River Valley for canyoning and other adventurous activities. However, I see online that even Lake Bled offers them too. Where should I rather go, if I can only do one?

    1. Where do I stay around Soca River Valley so that transportation is easy? I was looking up Bovec, but unsure of how to get there? I do not drive, though I can ride a 2 wheeler.
    2. How do I get to Soca River Valley from Venice? How do I go to Ljublana or Lake Bled from Soca?
    3. Currently my plan is for 2 days in Soca, 1 day in Ljublana/Bled, 2 days in Maribor for the Lent festival. Should I change it?

Thanks

1) Bovec. Bled is a second rate place for adventure sports.

1) Bovec, you can reach it by bus, it's not difficult at all.

2) From Venice, take a train to Gorizia, walk across the city and the border to the Slovenian side of the town called Nova Gorica and take a bus to Bovec. You can take buses from Bovec to Ljubljana or Bled.

Some information about the buses: https://hostelsocarocks.com/how-to-get-to-and-out-of-bovec-2018/

3) The more time you have the better, but if you don't have more time, don't change anything. I assume you have set aside travel days in addition to these days spend on the spot?
