Transfer between Venice and Sloverina

A couple months back I asked if anyone knew about the transfer service provided by Nomago. Since I only received replies about GoOpti and Flixbus I want to share information about Nomago. We used this service yesterday from Venice San Marco Airport to Ljubljana Bus Station and it was excellent. The bus felt new and was very clean. When we reserved our trip we were assigned a seat although it wasn't necessary because it wasn't busy. The seats recline and have a leg rest. The bus is equipped free wifi and a toilet. The cost is very reasonable and travel time was 3 hours 4 minutes as advertised. Highly recommend you give the service a try.

Thank you for sharing. We are looking into the most efficient way to get from Ljubljana to Venice, this might be a good option.

Excellent feedback! I just returned from Slovenia and used GoOpti from the Venice airport to Ljubljana and it was a mixed experience for €35 each way. How much was the Nomado bus?

Under no circumstances do I recommend GoOpti. I booked them based on RS recommendation and was abandoned in Venice at 9 o’clock at night without a good option for getting to Rovinj, Croatia. I booked my trip for my 74 year old mom and I, and bought the insurance. My flight was changed and I contacted them, but when my second leg was delayed I couldn’t contact them again. Upon landing, I received a text in Croatian, that I could not understand followed by a phone call, urging me to get to the pickup spot in 5 minutes or they would leave without me. I explained I was with my elderly mother who couldn’t walk fast, and we would do our best. Upon getting our luggage and heading for the exit, I received another call screaming at me that we needed to get there, that 4 people had been waiting for 30 minutes for us. I apologized but was doing my best. Being screamed at was not the way to start my trip, and sent me into a frenzy of trying to rush my poor mother. Upon getting outside, he called again, and asked me to describe what I saw, to help me get to the pickup spot. I told him, and again, he screamed at me that I was not at the right exit. Going back into the airport, I quickly learned there was no other exit and while he was misinformed about this, my Croatian texted directions apparently said there was construction and I was originally given the wrong instructions. I kept trying to figure out where to go, but eventually was told we took too long and they had to leave us, stranded! There were no ferries, trains or buses that would get us to Rovinj outside of a 5 hour window which I couldn’t do to my mom after a 14 hour flight. We opted for a 766€ taxi and GoOpti refused to reimburse the 133€ we originally paid. I wrote multiple emails, describing this to them, but to no avail. They are a terrible company. Do Not Use Them!
