There is one direct train daily from Ljublana to Vienna - train #EC 150, taking aobut 6 hours. It departs Ljublana at 4 p.m. and arrives in Vienna at 10:00 p.m. There are other options involving a train change in Villach, Pragersko or Maribor. See www.bahn.com for schedules. You can buy tickets at the train station in Ljublana a few days ahead. A standard ticket is €68.80 per person, but there are some limted SparSchiene tickets available for as low as €29.
