We are planning a family trip to Slovenia in August of 2016. I'm hoping to get some recommendations on hiking trails in the Triglav National Park, possibly out of Bohinj where we can access the mountains by cable car, or ski-lift, and then hike between huts for day hikes, or possibly an overnight stay at a hut.
My wife and I will be traveling with our three children (12, 10, and 6). Any recommended hiking books with trail maps would also be appreciated.
We spent some time hiking near Karpacz in the Karkanosze National Park in Poland some years back and are hoping for a similar experience in Slovenia. Hiking from hut to hut and taking in the scenery is a must.
Thanks in advance!
