Tourist farm near Kobarid?

We're driving down the Julian Alps at the end of September starting in Lake Bled and wanted to stop and stay overnight in Kobarid or thereabouts. We were hoping for a farm with animals, something very back-to-nature. Unfortunately, Tourist Farm Kranje is sold out for the night. Can anyone recommend other options that are not too awfully far off track? Bovec would probably be OK too. Thanks in advance!

Way back in 1995 i lead a cycling holiday in Slovenia. We did stop at mostly Tourist Farms but near Kobarid we stopped at the village inn in Dreznica called Jelkin Hram. It was a very quiet village up a long climb up a dead end road with superb scenery. You can see the large church from the valley so you know how far you have to climb!

Dreznica is a neat spot. I stayed at Tourist Fram Kranjc further up the mountain (which you report is sold out), but I would stay at Dreznica, too.

Not a recommendation, but the Soča Valley tourist website has an accommodation list. You can narrow your search to farms and check out 18 options in the area. https://www.soca-valley.com/en/accommodation/accommodations

Thanks for these recommendations! I went with Pristava Lepena which isn't exactly a tourist farm, but looked fun. Also staying on a Tourist Farm in Lokev.

Totally off topic (we slept above the pizzeria in Kobarid) but the local WW1 museum focusing on the bloody Isonzo Front is spectacular imo.
