slovenia flooding

We've made plans to be in Slovenia in mid-September, traveling to Bled, driving to Logar Valley from Bled and then to Ljubljana. I've seen a photo of a flooded shopping street in Ljubljana and read that Solcava (Logar Valley area) has been cut off. Although I'm sure much will be cleaned up and many roads and bridges reopened/repaired in 5 weeks, I would appreciate any first-hand information from anyone visiting there in the next few weeks. We're wondering if we should change our plans. Thank you.

If you are planning to drive in Slovenia you should know about this website: www.promet.si/en/ It gives Slovenian road and traffic information in real time.

We are travelling through Zagreb to Lljubljana near the end of September and will join a RS Best of the Adriatic tour on Oct. 3. We scheduled 2 nights in Kranjska Gora, 1 night in Bohinj (get there via car-train from Most na Soci), then 2 more nights in the Logar Valley. Currently, the promet.si website indicates closures on all three routes into the Valley, and even more closures on the route up to the Valley from Ljubljana through Kamnik . So at this moment the Logarska Dolina is looking doubtful. However we will wait a bit for the dust to settle then, as another poster suggests, check local conditions with hotel operators. I read also that the Bohinj tunnel is closed so perhaps the car-train connection won't happen either. Or maybe it will. With more than a month to go we will just have to wait and see.
