Driving from Kobarid around 8am to Skojcan caves and Predjama castle. Which should I see first?
Will need to drive to drive to Rastoke toward Plivitces the next morning. Where do you recommend spending the night after the caves or castle? Thanks

If your day is seeing these two places, it kind of depends on where you want to end up,
which I realize is also part of your question.
They are not all that far apart from each other, and parking should not be a big issue
(are you also going to Postojna Caves along with the castle?).
I think it's about 2 hours from Kobarid to Skocjan, maybe 2.5 to Predjama/Postojna.
Assuming you are renting a car in Slovenia and returning it in Croatia, you do realize
you could be in for a hefty dropoff charge?
Another option would be to go to Ljubljana after, drop off the car, spend the night, and
then take a bus or train to Zagreb, pick up a new car, and go from there. In that case,
do Skocjan first, then Predjama, easy trek to Ljubljana from there.

Thanks! I know about the surcharge but it’s either I pay that and drop off in Split which is where I head after Plivitces or hire drivers to transfer me from all these places which is slightly more than the drop off fee. I am trying to be efficient with my time since it’s limited.
