I would like to buy an original carpet from Sarajevo. Any recommendations on stores or markets ... should i bring cash? can i negotiate? any help is appreciated. I tried to find something on the internet with no success. Thank you for your advice.

The old Turkish quarter, Baščaršija, is not that big so that would be a good place to look. There are lots of small shops selling all kinds of things - copper, rugs, etc. Can you speak Bosnian? I assume trying to negotiate never hurts, so why not try?
(PS. Your post in under Slovenia for some reason instead of Bosnia)
