My wife and I will be In Slovenia for a week in June and I am wondering if anyone has any experience shipping wine back to the United States (CA) from Slovenia, Ljubljana to be exact. Any help would be extremely welcome. Thank you!

Haven’t been to Slovenia, but have shipped wine to the US from several other European countries. So long as you’re shipping from a winery or other reputable place, there shouldn’t be a problem on the shipping end, and I know there shouldn’t be a problem receiving on the California end. Of course, depending on the value of the wine you are shipping you may have some customs due. We’ve never encountered that with just a couple of cases of wine.
