Road Trip Update...

We will be driving from Prague to spend about two weeks in Slovenia. How does this version sound :)

  1. 2 nights in Wachau Valley for wine tasting (any wineries would be great) and one day biking
  2. 2 nights in Maribor Slovenia for wine tasting (any wineries would be great)
  3. 3 nights in Ljubljiana
  4. 2 nights in Piran (not sure abut this as it might have too many midges?)
  5. 3 nights in Bled-hiking and hiking
  6. 3 nights in Bohinj-hiking and hiking
  7. 2 nights in Salzburg
  8. Drive back to Prague

When I look at this, I think it is a lot go moving around, so I am not sure if I need to delete parts or if it is OK. I know the driving distances are not far, but still it is packing and unpacking

It’s Maribor, not Mirabor. I think your plan is fine but I’d suggest that you don’t need to stay in Bled and Bohinj as they are close together. Combine them. Definitely visit Piran.

I’ve made many posts about Wachau and suggested wineries. Do a search and you’ll find some recommendations from me. Edit to add - I saw you are staying in Emmersdorf, which is notably not in the Wachau…

Thanks Emily, I updated the spelling.
Would you suggest Maribor for wine or Vipava Valley? We could delete Maribor and add a day in Ljubljana? I will check out more of your updates. Thanks a lot
