Please tell me if you have a better suggestion for a senior female traveling solo, from Ljubljana to Nürnberg, other than the Flix Bus. After researching transportation options, this seems to be the easiest, most direct mode of transportation. They have one direct bus daily. The train is just as long, involves changes and is more expensive. Flying is expensive and isn't must shorter once you factor in the logistics of the process. Private car for one person is also too expensive. Perhaps there's another bus I'm not aware of. Thanks!

There is an overnight bus too, but I won't take it. You will feel miserable.
