I’ll be visiting Trieste in September and would like to take a short day trip over to Piran. Sunday works best for my schedule, but will things be open? I was going to wander around and get lunch there. Thanks!

I was in Piran on a Friday though Sunday some years ago. I don't remember any issues with things being closed on the Sunday.

We are going on a two week small group tour of Slovenia in early April that will begin on a Monday. We had a zoom meeting Saturday and the guide mentioned that those of us coming early should be aware that in Slovenia all stores are closed on Sundays and that normally only restaurants and museums are open.
