mid-June to July family trip: 18-20 days for Slovenia, Croatia Bosnia & Hungary - Part II

I posted some questions on itinerary and car versus train earlier. I have another question...has anyone done any kind of short term volunteer work in any of these countries? We'd like to try to do something during our trip... we have checked WorkAway and WWOOF and have some ideas, but would prefer more of an urban setting.
