Any recommendations for places to eat in Lubliana?

The one place that really stands out in my memory is Julija (https://julijarestaurant.com/). Excellent outdoor dining in the heart of the city's old town.

I was in Ljubljana a couple of weeks ago (my 1st trip) and recommend Slovenska Hisa--Figovec. Great food and great service! There is also a restaurant by the same name along the river, but it is not the same menu.

I would second Julija, but you will need a reservation. If you want something more casual / rustic, I highly recommend Gostilna Sokol (https://en.gostilna-sokol.com/)
