Ljubljana to Prague

We end Best of Eastern Europe tour in Ljubljana and need to get back to Prague. Any advice on best travel method? Flights are expensive. Would love to take train but need advice on how to book. Thanks in advance.

I hope that someone else comes up with better results than I did.
Flix bus is an 11 or 12 hour trip for around $66
LOT airlines a little less than 4 hour flight for $152.

You will be tired at the end of your tour. If you can possibly swing a flight, I would go for it.

You're right about Prague being difficult to get to from Ljubljana.

Option might be to take a bus (2 hr. 45 min.) to Treviso Airport and catch a flight on Ryanair to Prague.

There are no great options.

You could take a shuttle like GoOpti to Venice (about 3 hours from Ljubljana) and fly from Venice to Prague. Wizz Air has direct flights a few days a week from VCE; RyanAir has direct flights a few days a week from Treviso, but I'm not sure I would rely on either budget airline. Maybe you could book one of those flights (they are cheap booked in advance) now and have a backup plan in case the flight is changed or canceled or something. GoOpti can be booked fairly soon before departure (you can pick a window of time for pick-up) but is cheaper the further in advance you book it.

You could take a direct train to Munich (about 6.5 hours) and fly from there to Prague. Or spend the night in Munich and take a direct train the next day on to Prague. Best if you love train rides.

Deutsche Bahn International says 10 1/4 hours with 2 train changes (Salzburg and Linz) for 60.90 EUR nonrefundable.
